Orchard at the school

For a long time we had planned to set up a vegetable garden or an orchard at the school. Christa Endres from Kempen has therefore donated a nice amount with the proviso to buy fruit trees for an orchard, which can contribute a part of the care of the children.
It was a great day. The people from the farm had already prepared everything and dug many holes. Together with the children, we only had to plant and water the trees. It was fun for everyone. For each tree, two mentors have been appointed who will be responsible for the well-being of the plants from now on. But they can also eat the first fruits when the time comes.
Altogether about 20 trees were planted. Once the fruit trees are big, they will reap beautiful fruits.
